Terms and Conditions

OVERVIEW

These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) are between The Biz Huddle LLC, a Virginia-based Company (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), and you, the site visitor, customer, or attendee (“you” or “Attendee”). By registering for The Biz Huddle event through our website (the “Site”) at thebizhuddle.com, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Scope of the Event

The Biz Huddle will be held in Austin, TX, from July 22-25, 2025. The event includes speakers, hot seats, wellness activities, and breakout sessions during these dates. Meals, including breakfasts, lunches, and two dinners, will be provided. Attendees are responsible for their own lodging at The Thompson Hotel, travel arrangements, and one dinner.

2. Fees

The total fee for attending The Biz Huddle is $1,799. Fees are non-refundable. If you terminate this Agreement or fail to attend the event, fees are considered liquidated damages. We do not provide refunds of any kind for any reason. You may also visit our cancellation policy here.

3. Reservation & Cancellation Policy

To reserve your place, complete registration and pay the event fee. Reservations are not confirmed until the fee is paid and the Agreement is accepted. No refunds will be issued in the event of cancellation or inability to attend. You may transfer your ticket to another person with our written consent, provided that notice is sent via email at least 60 days prior to the event.

4. Event Schedule & Speakers

We reserve the right to modify the event schedule, sessions, speakers, and meal offerings as needed. Should a speaker become unavailable, we will make reasonable efforts to find a replacement. No refunds will be issued due to changes in the event lineup.

5. Conduct Expectations

All attendees are expected to conduct themselves respectfully. Disruptive behavior or bullying of any kind, including verbal, audio, video, or written forms, will result in dismissal from the event without refund. We reserve the right to cancel your attendance or remove you from the event if your behavior is inappropriate.

6. Confidentiality

During the event, confidential information may be disclosed by the Company, presenters, or other attendees. You agree not to disclose any confidential information or record any part of the event without express permission from the Company and speakers.

7. Model Release

By attending the event, you grant The Biz Huddle the right to use any photos or videos taken of you at the event in various media forms for promotional purposes without restriction. This release is binding on you and your heirs.

8. Bonuses

Bonuses or promotions are subject to change at the Company’s discretion and are only available at the time of registration. In-person bonuses are available during the event and cannot be redeemed after the event concludes.

9. No Guarantees

We do not guarantee specific results from attending The Biz Huddle, and any outcomes from services provided during the event are dependent on your own efforts.

10. Assumption of Risk

By attending the event, you acknowledge and accept any risks associated with the activities and transportation involved, including dining and recreational activities.

11. Insurance Responsibility

It is your responsibility to obtain any necessary travel, medical, or other insurance coverage. The Biz Huddle is not liable for any sickness, injury, or other damages that may occur.

12. COVID-19 Acknowledgement & Release

By attending, you accept any potential health risks, including exposure to COVID-19. The Company cannot guarantee a COVID-19-free environment, and by participating, you waive any claims against the Company related to COVID-19 exposure.

13. Indemnification

Each party agrees to indemnify the other from any claims, losses, or damages arising from their respective actions under this Agreement, except in cases of gross negligence.

14. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for cancellations or delays due to events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, acts of war, government restrictions, or other force majeure events, excluding COVID-19-related issues.

15. Jurisdiction & Venue

The laws of the State of Virginia govern these Terms and Conditions. Any disputes that are not resolved through arbitration will be settled in the courts of Montgomery County, Virginia.

16. Arbitration

All disputes arising from this Agreement shall be resolved through arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, with the proceedings held in Montgomery County, VA.

17. Severability

If any part of this Agreement is found invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.

18. Notice

Any formal notices should be sent via email and will be considered effective as of the date and time sent.
